- Project Catalyst / Adelaide Thinkers In Residence
A unique collaboration with Carnegie Mellon Professor and Adelaide's 16th Thinker in Resident Laura Lee. Adelaide Thinkers In Residence was established in 2003 by the South Australian government. The program invites professional leaders from around the world to live and work in Australia for three months. Laura’s residency focused on how to position South Australia as a national and international leader in integrated and sustainable design. Outcomes include the formation of South Australia’s first Integrated Design Commission, which in Premier Mike Rann's words, “will advise us on how we can better improve the quality of life of our cities and communities around the State through better design, and by fostering innovation.”
